Sparrow is serving up some very good coffee! During my visit the barista was professional, helpful and friendly. The espresso I had was slung with the Alter Ego blend by Thou Mayest Coffee Roasters and the iced coffee was made with a single origin Ethiopian coffee from Second Best Coffee. Both were great! I really loved the large windows at the front of the store and all of the natural light they brought in.

Took my dog for a walk and wanted to get a coffee for me, and water for him. The person taking my order said they were pet friendly! I'm very happy to know I can stop by here with him and give us both a cool off break :)

PROS: Natural lighting, real plants, "conference room", clean, friendly staff CONS: parking, chai tea, I work from home and venture out into town whenever I need a change of pace. I often visit a new coffee shop and Brothers Coffee Company is the one I visited this time. Upon arriving to the coffee shop I noticed that the area is busy mainly because it is located right across from the K-State campus. The parking lot itself is not busy however, I did notice that students use these spaces to park and walk to class so depending on the time of day they can get filled quickly. I was there around 12 noon. When I entered the store I my attention was caught by the plants in the windows and on the tables. I think this is always a nice touch as plants bring so much joy to so many. The coffee shop had a good natural lighting. As far as the seating goes there are several sections of the shop that differ. There is a section of the shop that has some larger lounge chairs and couches. There are raised cement bar tops that run the middle section of the shop and near the front windows. There are smaller more intimate tables that are mixed in. For the purposes that I was there I found the seating to be uncomfortable but was able to stand and get my work done at the bar top. Due to the height of the bars I do not think that this will be for everyone. I ordered a chai tea latte and I have to be critical here because it is a coffee shop after all. I have watched many baristas and coffee house make a chai tea latte and they all use a simple mixture of products. This chai tea was watery and did not have that creamy texture that you would expect from a latte so that was a bummer. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would revisit but not get a chai tea latte and would not be using this location to do work again.

My daughter, granddaughter and I visited Brother's a couple of days ago. I was visiting, my daughter lives on base, she didn't know about the place. We wanted to go for coffee after church and I said let's find a non chain place. I like to support local small businesses. We found Brother's, a very warm, welcoming place. My daughter got a vanilla, caramel cappuccino and I got a lavender latte. We both hadn't had coffee in a long time and found the coffee very strong. We both couldn't taste our flavors well, when I asked for more sweetener, they gave me more no problem. I then ordered a hot chocolate for my gdaughter, it was given on the house. My gdaughter loved it. We ordered a grilled cheese with pesto for a snack, we shared. That was fabulous. The pesto and cheese grilled together the way they were almost made it taste like there was salami in the sandwich. The bread was nicely browned, cheese melted through, oozed out the side. Delicious! We ate there. Seating, nicely spaced. My gdaughter had a rocking chair, she loved it, of course. There is a piano in a cubby like space near the bathroom. I was going to ask about playing it because it wasn't locked. So I think it's open for anyone to play. We noticed a private room that a group came in and went into. For me, I enjoyed the owner coming around talking with us and the other customers the most. It's a place I would become a regular, a home away from home, if I lived in the area. If I had been thinking clearer I would've taken pictures of our drinks and food. But here is the menu board, outside, and view of across the street.

I have had a lot of coffee and I've just had the best cappuccino ever. The flavor of the espresso was really nice and not bitter, yet strong and bold. It was a wonderful smooth and warm flavor. The milk was perfectly steamed and complimented the coffee, it was almost creamy but not thick. The foam cap was a wonderful mixture of dry and wet. I love studying here and I love this place. It's safe to say I'm a stan

Really? Great drinks and baked goods served by superfriendly people in a very nice collegey atmosphere. They have a borrow book program, lots of comfy seating, plenty of parking and within walking distance of campus, those are all big wins in my book.

Went in for some coffee and some pie from Thera Pie. The coffee was amazing. I ordered The Piano signature latte (iced) and I purchased the key lime pie which is delicious. From time I walked in, I was greeted and treated very friendly and respectful . The customer service is AWESOME. I recommend this place to anyone looking some great coffee, dessert and great service.

Surprisingly this is the first time I’ve been here, since I’m normally just passing by. It’s a great place! The coffee was delicious and the owner was super personable—he’s one the who served me. He introduced himself and was very friendly. The atmosphere was amazing, as was the decor. I’ll absolutely be coming back here when I’m in this part of town. They’re located across from KSU, and close to MCC, which is close to Aggieville (a bit be west, off Anderson). I would absolutely camp here to work, study or visit with friends.
